Teaching Children compassion is in deed very important.It does my heart good to see that people can make change through education.I am a vegan and I have been told more than a few times to leave my beliefs to myself, everybody has there right to eat and go wherever they please.I personally think that if you are doing harm and taking part in Animal injustice, then I have a right to be there voice and try to educate people about what I have discovered through my years of research. I in deed am Grandma Lucky and I have been teaching my Granddaughter Natalia all about nature and compassion since she was born. I would take her around my garden where she would see all the wonderful flowers and the different scents.The Squirrels , all the different types of birds that now that she is older she helps me feed them. There was a time where a squirrels nest had fallen out of one the trees in my yard and there were these tiny little baby squirrels. They were so small they did not even have hair yet.They needed our help so Natalia and I went inside where I called the wildlife society that informed me what to do.Natalia and I gathered up a box,She put some leaves on the bottom so it would keep them warm,I got a pair of gloves and put the Squirrels in the box ,then Natalia put a couple of more leaves to blanket them and keep them warm until there Mom came to get them.I got my laptop outside which had a baby squirrel call Mom on it and proceeded to call for there Mom.We went inside and waited and sure enough The mom came for her babies.I thought to myself what a beautiful thing just happened and what an awesome lesson on compassion for my Grandchild. The mother actually took them to another nest and Natalia and I have watched them grow and we now feed them nuts and fruit.I am so happy,Lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful grandchild and Natalia is lucky to have her special surprise grandma and Grandpa,Her lucky grandma and Grandpa and her parents that have so much love for her. She truly is blessed with so love and kindness.
